~ The Human Trainer Suspension Gym Review ~
What Is The Human Trainer?
The human trainer isn’t a machine and it doesn’t use weights for resistance. Resistance all comes via the user’s own body weight. You can literally train every part of your body with this equipment. All you have to do is adjust your angle or change your grip.
Not only is it portable and easy to use, the Human Trainer is like a gym in one little package. The design of this training system really focuses on strengthening your core, using balance combined with strength, and increases overall flexibility and joint strength.
Using straps, ripcords and resistance bands, the Human Trainer sets up in seconds and can be used both indoors and outdoors. You don’t need a permanent setup for this. You can even take it to the park and hook it up to a tree if you wish and workout in the fresh air.
Check out the video below for ideas on what exercises you can do with it, and its amazing versatility.
What Are The Benefits?
- You don’t need a permanent space for the equipment
- It’s portable
- Can be used indoors and outdoors

As you can see from the above list, there are loads of benefits to owning and using this system for your workouts. The price is cheap compared to other exercise equipment and you can use it anywhere.
There are so many exercises you can do with the Human trainer. I won’t list them all here, but you can check them out on the official website. As I’ve said, you can use this system to work out every single muscle group in your entire body. You can even do traditional forms of exercises like bicep and tricep curls, as illustrated below.
You can do….
- Chest and back flies
- Chest press
- Knee raises
….to name just a few.
To be honest I can’t really come up with any real negatives for the Human Trainer system. It can take a little while to get your core strength up to an optimum level to really use it to its full potential, and you do need somewhere where you can set it up for use, but those aren’t really negatives.

They have the full kit of this at my gym and it’s very popular. I’ve used it a few times as an alternative to lifting weights. It’s fantastic for strength training, incorporating balance into the routine. Really works out your core and gives it incredible strength. I’d recommend this kit to anyone wanting to set up a small home gym that doesn’t take up loads of space. You don’t really need weights or bulking machines. This thing gets you fit and in shape in ways that no traditional gym can.
