What Is The Human Trainer?

Human Trainer OutdoorsThe human trainer isn’t a machine and it doesn’t use weights for resistance. Resistance all comes via the user’s own body weight.  You can literally train every part of your body with this equipment. All you have to do is adjust your angle or change your grip.

Not only is it portable and easy to use, the Human Trainer is like a gym in one little package. The design of this training system really focuses on strengthening your core, using balance combined with strength, and increases overall flexibility and joint strength.

Using straps, ripcords and resistance bands, the Human Trainer sets up in seconds and can be used both indoors and outdoors. You don’t need a permanent setup for this. You can even take it to the park and hook it up to a tree if you wish and workout in the fresh air.

Check out the video below for ideas on what exercises you can do with it, and its amazing versatility.

What Are The Benefits?

  • Inexpensive
  • You don’t need a permanent space for the equipment
  • It’s portable
  • Can be used indoors and outdoors
  • Works out every part of the body
  • Great for core strength training and flexibility
  • No bulky weights or awkward machines
  • Made from strong and highly-durable materials
  • Lots of accessories and exercise routines to compliment your kit
  • Sets up in seconds
  • Versatile
  • 2 year warranty

As you can see from the above list, there are loads of benefits to owning and using this system for your workouts. The price is cheap compared to other exercise equipment and you can use it anywhere.

Exercises

There are so many exercises you can do with the Human trainer. I won’t list them all here, but you can check them out on the official website. As I’ve said, you can use this system to work out every single muscle group in your entire body. You can even do traditional forms of exercises like bicep and tricep curls, as illustrated below.

Human Trainer Curls

You can do….

  • Chest and back flies
  • Rows
  • Curls
  • Squats
  • Chest press
  • Knee raises
  • Tucks
  • Dips

….to name just a few.

The Cons

To be honest I can’t really come up with any real negatives for the Human Trainer system. It can take a little while to get your core strength up to an optimum level to really use it to its full potential, and you do need somewhere where you can set it up for use, but those aren’t really negatives.

In Conclusion

They have the full kit of this at my gym and it’s very popular. I’ve used it a few times as an alternative to lifting weights. It’s fantastic for strength training, incorporating balance into the routine. Really works out your core and gives it incredible strength. I’d recommend this kit to anyone wanting to set up a small home gym that doesn’t take up loads of space. You don’t really need weights or bulking machines. This thing gets you fit and in shape in ways that no traditional gym can.

Hey there, you have a great website and you have produced a great article. Its clear and concise and I like the and I like how you have broken down the review in to simple categories that have a good amount of information for users to read. The human trainer actually sounds pretty good. It allows you to work out with out needing a lot of equipment! Really convenient! Thanks for getting me interested in this product.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my post on the Human Trainer. I’ve used this at my gym and it’s a rather unique way of exercising. The best part is being able to use it outdoors and practically anywhere you want.

I’ve been searching around for some equipment to have at home to build up my fitness in general. At first I thought i should get some dumb bells but this looks more interesting as you can vary the regime for general fitness as opposed to just building muscle. Also, I heard that increasing the protein intake combined with exercise, you can build lean body mass. Is that correct?

The suspension trainer is a great piece of equipment. Gives you a workout like no other. Eat lots of protein and keep the carbs to a minimum to gain lean mass. Suspension trainers aren’t really designed to gain muscle mass, but great for getting you ripped and building up joint strength.

Wow when someone asks What Is The Best Suspension Trainer, and you come back with The Human Trainer you really have all the bases covered.
Focusing on the core is critical as it is the foundation of our inner being.

I had been looking for something like this a while back, had I Googled you sooner I could have benefited greatly.
The wife and I however just moved to an apartment complex with a full gym that I use 5 days a week.

Thanks for the great read though, I enjoyed the breakdown on this great piece of equipment!

I have gained a few too many pounds this holiday season and I’m looking for a way to lose the weight and build some muscle. I think the human trainer is just what I’ve been looking for. I like that women and men can use it. That’s great for my family because me and my husband both can get some use out of it.

    Thanks
    Merceadez

Hi Merceadez. It’s definitely worth getting the Human Trainer. Gives you an awesome workout and, the part I like best, you can use it anywhere.

Awesome setup! This is perfect for someone who isn’t looking to lift massive weight but still wants to get a healthy workout in. My parents have a vacation condo that isn’t big enough for a full gym. This would definitely be perfect for them. I’ll be sure to recommend it!

These are pretty good. To someone who is just used to lifting weights a suspension trainer looks like it wouldn’t do much, but the exact opposite is true. Some of the exercises are painfully hard and really build up your core body strength all round.
