~ Inspire Fitness Equipment Reviews ~
My gym just got a brand new one of these in and it’s proving to be very popular for both guys and girls. It’s the versatility that really makes it a hit at my gym, I think. If someone can’t get on a piece of specialist equipment they want to use, they know they can perform the same exercise on the Ft2. There’s just so many different exercises you can do on this machine, and there really is no compromise when using the Ft2 as compared to a machine dedicated to a single exercise.
Not only is it extremely popular at my gym, but a search of the internet will soon tell you that many buyers are more than happy with their purchase. Just about all reviews I’ve seen for this gym are highly positive.
Ft2 Functional Trainer Overview
The Inspire Fitness Ft2 is built and designed for both commercial and home use, hence the great build quality and the higher price tag than some other home gyms. It’s very compact, making it perfect for the garage or the spare room, but also strong enough and versatile enough for commercial use.
The Smith Machine component certainly adds to the safety of exercising on this equipment; especially if you are using it at home and are unsupervised by gym staff and personal trainers, or if you are working out alone.
What Are The Benefits And Features?
You can perform just about every exercise on the Ft2 Functional Trainer and work out your entire body. With the optional adjustable incline bench and leg exercise attachments there really isn’t much you can’t do.
The dual pulley system has 32 adjustment settings for unlimited training functionality. This really adds to its versatility and overall enjoyment of the workout process. The pulleys are made of nylon reinforced with fibreglass.
2x 150lb commercial grade weight stacks. For added safety they have centre-drilled holes and a magnetic weight pin. The weight stacks are positioned on either side of the machine, adding stability and a well-balanced lift.
Built into the gym is a weight multiplier which doubles the maximum resistance for those who really want to lift heavy.
The frame of this piece of equipment is very sturdy and robust and is coated with an electrostatic powder coat finish to keep the gear looking great and low on maintenance.
Situated at the top of the machine is a pull up bar. This bar is adjustable to accommodate for low ceilings. It’s also handy for short people, like myself.
The precision bearing system utilises steel balls designed for a smooth action and are maintenance-free.
There are multiple places to attach the hand grips, which is a step up from most home gyms on the market.
The fact that this system has been designed to not only be compact, but also very low maintenance, makes it ideal for the home.

Warranty and Shipping
The manufacturers offer a lifetime warranty on the frame and parts when the gym is used at home. If it’s used commercially, then the warranty is 10 years.
There is free shipping for this kit if you live in the United States, and it’s usually shipped out in 6-10 days.
It’s hard to go past this piece of quality gym gear if you want something robust and serious for home workouts. Regardless of the lifetime warranty, the Ft2 Functional Trainer is so well-built and tough it’ll probably outlive all of us anyway. On the professional side, if you want to purchase it for your commercial gym, you can’t go wrong with the Ft2, either. I’ve seen how popular it is firsthand at the gym I go to. I’ve used it a number of times myself. The machine gets a thrashing and still never misses a beat.
It’s well worth every cent in my honest opinion.
