~ Avari Programmable Stepper Reviews ~

I used to hate steppers and always avoided using them at the gym. Once I started using them I changed my mind pretty quickly when I realised what a fantastic accompaniment they were to weight training.

Steppers are a great way to burn calories and get in shape and can be used while watching TV or listening to music. As they don’t take up a lot of room they can even be set up near a window at home that maybe has a nice view to take in as you workout.

One big advantage of steppers such as the Avari model is they can be programmed to make the workout as easy or as difficult as you desire. Your settings will depend on both your fitness level and the strength of the workout you want for your body. They are great for cardiovascular fitness, too, as well as muscle shaping.

Avari Programmable Stepper Overview

This is a fully programmable stepper machine which gives it distinct advantages over cheaper and smaller models. There are 20 different programs you can choose from. These include:

  • Manual
  • 12 presets
  • Body fat program
  • Heart rate control
  • Target heart rate
  • 4 user-defined programs

The Avari Programmable Stepper will trim and tone the buttocks, thighs, calves, hips, lower back and lower abs. It gives you pretty much a half body workout as far as muscle groups go, but more importantly, with enough resistance, really works out your heart and lungs. It is designed to operate smoothly so it is easy on the joints and makes for a comfortable, invigorating workout.

What Are The Benefits And Features?

The Cons

No arm swings to tone the arms and upper body. You have to pay more for a model that has this feature.

Finance Available

If you have an Amazon Store Card you can get 12 months interest-free finance when you purchase the Avari Stepper. You can take longer than 12 months to pay it off, but if you go beyond the 12 months, then interest is charged from the purchase date.

Warranty and Shipping

The stepper comes with a standard one year warranty which can be upgraded to a total of 4 or 5 years for an extra $100 or so. At the moment shipping of the Avari Stepper from the Amazon store is limited to addresses in the US only.

All in all a very solid stepper for the money. Gives the user just as good a workout as a stepper costing three times the amount. I prefer steppers with the arm swings, which this one doesn’t have, but still it’s a great piece of equipment. If you are looking for something of quality for home use, then the Avari Programmable Stepper is hard to pass up.

Big savings at Amazon at the moment, too, so get in quick while the price is low.

    Hi there,

Great article, I really enjoyed reading it as I always want to lose some weights:)
I was just looking for this kind of machine for my daughter, my husband and me. We all need to do some exercises. We don’t have always the time to go to the gym, so we decided that the stepper is the best way to move our muscles.
I have bookmarked your website and will show this stepper to my beautiful family.I am sure I will come back with some questions if you don’t mine
Thank you very much for this awesome review

Great site! You have a ton of content and information. How long have you been developing this site?

Great product placement as well. Seems that you have a real interest and investment in your niche!

I read your About page and it seems a bit impersonal. I think that if you added more details about yourselves and maybe a larger picture you could engage your visitors more.

All in all a great site … I hope to use some of your ideas in my own site!

Thanks for your feedback on our website, and we’ll certainly take your suggestions into consideration.

Just wondering if you had any thoughts on this actual post, though? Does the Avari Stepper sound like something you would be interested in?

Great thorough review, thank you! I have been toying with the idea of a treadmill, but a stepper does seem like a much more convenient and overall better option.

Are there any other brands you would recommend?

    • December 4, 2015

Hi Clyde. There are some other brands that are more expensive that I’d also recommend as being good, but they are more for the gym. This is the best one for home use in my opinion. But that’s just my opinion, or course.

That’s a great article on the stepper machine. These machines i believe are most effective when use regularly for optimal result.

Your video of a workout with the machine has given me a better view on how practical the machine works and how effective it can be if one tends to use it rightly. Thanks, that was a great review

Videos are a great way to demonstrate the features and benefits of a piece of exercise equipment. It’s the next best thing to actually trying the machine out for real. Thanks for stopping by.

This stepper machine looks like the perfect work out machine for using at home. It takes up so little space! 20 programmable settings is a lot! Does this include setting like interval training? Buying this on Amazon, I assume it would have to be assembled when you receive it? Is it hard to set up?

    • May 30, 2016

Hi. With regards to interval training, if you mean can you vary the intensity of the workout while on the machine, yes you can. It comes in a box, so it will require some assembly, but it’s really only a matter of bolting the arms and feet to the motor and attaching the steppers.

I found this review very helpful since I really like to exercise. I think that this machine looks great for those people that are trying to lose weight.

You can seriously burn some good calories on this machine.

Do you think this stepper is better than a treadmill?

    • June 30, 2016

Treadmills are great for warming up before exercise and they burn some calories for sure, but steppers take the exercise up a few more levels and really get your heart and lungs going.
