How To Get Rid Of Bags Under The Eyes With Revitol

How To Get Rid Of Bags Under The Eyes WithEveryone suffers from bags under their eyes at times, and those dreaded dark circles that make you look like you’ve just been a few rounds in the boxing ring. Aging is certainly a factor as well, as the collagen in the skin breaks down with time.

Revitol is an eye cream that has been around for quite a long time now, and that’s because it works. Many people have been helped by applying Revitol to their eyes to remove temporary dark circles, or to help restore the collagen and tighten up that sagging skin below the eyes.

We’ll get more into the benefits of Revitol further below, but let’s first see what causes this eye condition to begin with.

What Causes Bags Under The Eyes And Dark Circles?

It’s true these can be caused by a lack of sleep, stress, staring at technology for too long and various things like that, but the problem generally goes deeper than that. Dark circles are more often a result of broken capillaries that leak blood just beneath the skin’s surface, giving the flesh surrounding the eyes that purplish dark hue.

This can also produce a sagginess of the skin below the eyes as well. Aging is more often the cause of this, though, as the skin’s collagen breaks down and diminishes.

Fat loss beneath the eyes can also lead to the sagging look, as the fat deposits drop lower. Normally this fat serves to keep the look of the skin around the eyes firm, but as we age it drops and the eyes take on that drooping appearance.

Allergies are also another common cause of these conditions.

Can This Be prevented?

Unfortunately no one can combat the aging process entirely and prevent themselves from ever looking old. It catches up with all of us eventually, no matter what creams we use or what plastic surgery we have.

It can be slowed, though, and certainly can be improved upon. That’s precisely why the cosmetic industry – particularly eye and wrinkle cream – is a worldwide multi-billion dollar commodity!

Get Rid Of Bags Under The Eyes Naturally

Here are a few tips to help get rid of under eye bags and dark circles the natural way.

Get Enough Sleep: It’s an obvious one, but the less sleep we have the more we naturally appear tired. Our eyes get bloodshot, they can appear puffy from lack of proper rest and this can lead to those broken capillaries that produce the dark circles.

Ice: Applying ice to the skin just below the eyes can certainly help reduce the sagging, at least as a temporary measure. Ice can also help to break down those fat deposits causing the puffiness and disperse them.

Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol: Alcohol especially can lead to tired eyes, dark circles and puffiness. Both alcohol and caffeine cause dehydration, which affects the skin by leaving it looser and more prone to wrinkles.

Vitamin C: Anything that contains Vitamin C is going to do wonders for your skin. It’s one of the reasons many people (including beauticians) apply slices of cucumber to the eyes. It imparts vital C vitamins directly to the affected area. Vitamin C promotes the production of collagen, which gives the skin its elastic properties, reducing wrinkles and sagging skin.

Reduce Salt: A reduction in your daily intake of salt can also help, as salt tends to contribute to fluid retention. A build up of fluid (especially when it comes to allergies) can lead to a puffy eye look.

Revitol Before After

How To Get Rid Of Bags Under The Eyes With Revitol

As I mentioned at the start of this post, Revitol has been around for a long time and has been hugely successful in treating dark circles around the eyes, wrinkles, and puffy eyes. Its active ingredients are:

  1. Niacinamide: A Vitamin B complex that enables the skin to retain moisture for hydration, thus reducing wrinkles.
  2. Chrysin: Helps to break down haemoglobin and reduce the appearance of dark circles.
  3. Bisabolol: A derivative of Chamomile, this ingredient helps to soothe irritated skin and reduce puffiness.
  4. N-Hydroxycicinimide: Another ingredient that helps to remove that dark circle appearance.

The beauty of this product is the way it targets 3 eye problems all in one solution. Revitol hasn’t been on the market for 20 years for no reason. It’s longevity is testament to the fact that it actually works; it does what the manufacturers proclaim it does.

Check out their website. Right now they have a special promotion where you get two FREE jars of Revitol!

Great website! I have the displeasure of having been born with hereditary eye bags (thanks Dad) and have had the problem my whole life. I’ve tried everything else, so when I stumbled onto this page, I got excited. I’m definitely going to try the Revitol, and thank you for giving the mini reviews on the other products, as well. If the Revitol doesn’t work for me, it looks like there are some other good products out there to try. 🙂
